As any hat wearer knows, a much loved hat becomes an extension of your personality. We create unique hats to fit your unique style, from classic fedoras inspired by the 1920s and 30s, to western hats fit for the ranch, or refined lady's trilbies. Whatever your vision we can help to bring it to life.

Historical

Our passion for hats was born of a passion for history. We have since become specialists in recreating hats from the past. Every detail is carefully replicated using period-correct techniques and materials to ensure the highest standards of authenticity.

We are also provide a consultancy service for film, television, and theatre to advise on matters of historical headwear.

Cap Making

Alongside our bespoke hat making service, we also produce one-of-a-kind cloth caps. Usually made from tweeds and heavier woollens, we can also produce caps in linen, cotton, or whatever cloth you like.

Our signature style follows the shape of those popular in Britain during the 1920s and 30s but other styles are available on request.

Workshops

As custodians of an ancient and endangered trade we believe we have a responsibility to share our skills. We also know what joy and fulfilment making can bring so we have created a series of workshop classes to introduce new-comers to the craft of hat making.

Our workshops are aimed at beginners with only basic sewing skills, you will be taught how to block, shape, and trim a hat, working from hood to finished hat.
